. Active safety is a complex of properties of the car reducing possibility of occurrence of road and transport incidents. Level of active safety is defined by set of parametres and directly depends on the driver: it can or cannot realise car potential for the purpose to avoid accident. Active safety engages following components:

• non-failure operation of sites, units and car systems. Special requirements are shown to a braking system, a steering, a suspender, the engine, transmission etc.;

• car configuration: Stability, roadability depend On configuration at movement and not only;

• brake properties. In modern cars the antiblocking system of brakes (ABS), correcting force of braking of each wheel and preventing their slippage is used;

• traction properties (traction dynamics). Traction properties of the car define its ability intensively to accelerate momentum, that influences confidence of the driver at passing, journey of crossroads. Traction dynamics has great value at an exit from emergencies when to slow down already late, and to maneuver close conditions do not allow;

• stability of the car, that is its ability to save movement on the set trajectory, counteracting the forces calling its drift and overturning in various road conditions at high speeds. Distinguish cross-section (at an in-line motion) and longitudinal (at overcoming of long liftings and slipping);

• informative - property of the car to provide the driver the necessary information. Happens internal (necessary for steering), external (directed on other participants of movement), additional (in the conditions of a restricted view);

• comfortableness. Defines time during which the driver is capable to steer the car not getting tired.
